Technical Research Overview

Optimizing Field Reporting.
Reducing Lag.

GroundLink is a technical research project focused on optimizing field reporting and reducing reporting lag in NGO operations. Developed by a collective of humanitarian tech specialists and SaaS developers, our mission is to solve the 'last-mile' data gap where critical incident reporting often disappears into unstructured WhatsApp chats or remains locked in complex M&E software.

The Problem We Are Solving

Field officers in active conflict zones require reporting tools that work faster than phone calls or messenger threads. Most existing platforms are too bloated for rapid tactical use or fail entirely during network blackouts.

Our Research Focus

Zero-Latency Logging

Testing 3-tap, icon-based reporting interfaces for high-stress environments.

GPS Trust Architecture

Validating real-time GPS error margin transparency to improve data reliability for Security Advisors.

Offline-First Resilience

Implementing protocols that operate locally and synchronize automatically upon signal detection.

STATUS: VALIDATION

2026 Field Study

We are currently in a pure validation and smoke-testing phase. We are looking to collaborate with Security Leads, Field Coordinators, and GIS Officers to stress-test our logic against real-world operational constraints.
